Adolescence is one of the most challenging seasons of life. Therapy gives teens a private, safe and supportive space to explore their identity, process emotions, and build the tools they need to thrive.

Who am I? We explore
Social media, pressure, more
Relationships are hard. These are the most common challenges that bring teens to seek support.
Academic pressure, social anxiety, perfectionism, or a constant sense of dread that makes everyday life feel exhausting.
Persistent sadness, loss of interest, hopelessness, or withdrawal that goes beyond normal teenage moodiness.
Cyberbullying, comparison culture, identity confusion, and the mental health impact of constant digital connectivity.
First heartbreaks, difficult friendships, peer conflict, or feeling fundamentally misunderstood by everyone around them.
Navigating difficult family dynamics, divorce, blended families, or feeling caught between parents and their own growing autonomy.
Teens who have experienced trauma, are engaging in self-harm, or are struggling with unhealthy coping mechanisms need specialized support.
We start with a brief consultation — with a parent, the teen, or both — to share background and goals. After that, teen sessions are treated as confidential, in keeping with California law on minors' consent to their own care. In custody situations, access to information may vary — we're happy to walk through specifics at intake.
The first few sessions are about relationship-building. Teens open up when they feel safe and trusted — so we take our time getting there.
Together we identify the real drivers of distress — whether that's anxiety, identity, relationships, trauma, or family dynamics.
Using evidence-based tools (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic awareness), we build practical coping skills that work in real life.
As the teen gains confidence and tools, we track meaningful progress together. Our goal is to help them build lasting independence and carry these skills forward into daily life, guided by consistent, ongoing support along the way.
Teens who engage in therapy with genuine commitment often experience profound improvements in emotional well-being, self-confidence, communication, and overall quality of life.
Teens learn to identify, understand, and regulate their emotions — a skill that transforms relationships and decision-making.
Evidence-based tools help teens manage overwhelming emotions and break cycles of anxious or depressive thinking.
Therapy builds communication skills, boundary-setting, and the self-awareness needed for genuine, healthy connections.
The coping skills, self-awareness, and emotional tools teens build in therapy stay with them for life.
A safe space to explore who they are — values, sexuality, culture, purpose — without pressure or judgment.
