My career began over 20 years ago providing relationship-based developmental services for families on the autism path, grounded in DIR/Floortime to foster parent-child co-regulation. Play is the language of children, and for young clients I draw on play therapy as a developmentally attuned way to give them space to express themselves through it. Through play, they process emotions, build connection, and experience co-regulation as I meet them where they are. My practice is rooted in a humanistic, person-centered framework that offers unconditional positive regard and genuine presence as the foundation for real change. I also draw on existential philosophy and narrative therapy to help clients externalize the stories they've been carrying and begin authoring new ones. I offer a strengths-based space where we collaborate to build resilience and move toward a more fulfilled life. My integrative approach centers on mindfulness and emotional regulation, helping clients build tolerance for distress and strengthen how they connect with others. Ecotherapy is a core part of this work. I bring clients into the natural world through community walks at local parks and time spent in the garden community next door, using that shared space for grounding, reflection, and connection. Art and music offer further ways for authentic expression to unfold, and animal-assisted therapy remains a central passion of mine, bridging emotional bonding and connection. I believe we're all in this human experience together, and that our connection to one another, to nature, and to a deeper sense of meaning is what helps us truly thrive.
